At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Contract: 12-month fixed term, starting January 2026 with a handover period before the start of leave.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced events leader to step into a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover as Sr Manager, Strategic Events EMEA. In this role, you'll drive and execute Snowflake's PAN-EMEA events strategy, lead a team of six (including four direct reports), and you’ll own planning for the next fiscal year. You'll keep EMEA closely aligned with the Global Strategic Events function and work in close partnership with EMEA Field Marketing, Product Marketing (PMM), Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Communications, and other regional marketing teams. Together you’ll deliver cohesive, high-impact event experiences that fuel pipeline and deepen customer engagement.

This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll be accountable for the performance and development of your team, the planning and reporting rigour behind our Snowflake-owned event series, and the strategic oversight of our highest-profile third-party sponsorships across the region. Your job is to make sure the portfolio as a whole delivers for the business.

You’ll get end-to-end exposure to some of the most visible event investments in enterprise tech, including Davos, Cannes Lions, and Mobile World Congress, alongside Snowflake’s own flagship programmes across the EMEA region.

What You'll Do

Own PAN-EMEA events strategy and planning: Drive the comprehensive events plan — spanning Snowflake-led events, third-party sponsorships, and partner events — ensuring tight alignment with regional pipeline goals, the Global Strategic Events roadmap, and broader EMEA marketing priorities.
Lead and develop a team of six: Manage four direct reports and a wider team of six event professionals. Set clear objectives, run development plans and performance conversations, foster a culture of excellence and accountability, and ensure the team delivers consistently at a high level throughout the contract period. You’ll also hire for open roles as needed.
Plan and report on Snowflake-owned flagship events: Have oversight of and accountability for key Snowflake-led programmes including World Tour and the Data for Breakfast series, as well as EMEA presence at global tentpole events such as Summit.
Steer strategic third-party sponsorships: Ensure planning, global alignment, and performance oversight for Snowflake's largest third-party event investments — including Davos, Mobile World Congress (MWC), Cannes Lions, Gartner, and SAP conferences. Individual event planning and execution sits with dedicated team members; your role is to steer strategic alignment, cross-functional coordination, and performance management across the portfolio.
Shape executive programming: Make sure our highest-profile moments, from the Davos storefront to sponsorship hospitality, deliver meaningful C-level engagement with strategic accounts through executive meetings, roundtables, and dinners.
Drive measurable pipeline impact: Partner with Field Marketing, Sales, SDR, and Partner teams to ensure every event delivers qualified meetings, pipeline contribution, and opportunity acceleration.
Manage budget and operations: Own accountability for the overall EMEA events budget, covering forecasting, spend management, and ROI analysis across the portfolio. Individual event budgets and vendor/agency relationships are managed by team members; your role is to maintain visibility, enforce financial discipline, and report consolidated performance to leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Act as the connective tissue between Global Strategic Events and EMEA marketing functions — including PMM, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Brand, and Content — to ensure consistent messaging and seamless execution.
Innovate: Bring fresh ideas and formats that differentiate Snowflake in the market and keep the events programme ahead of the curve.

What We're Looking For

10+ years in B2B event or field marketing, with 3+ years in leadership roles managing teams and large-scale event portfolios.
Proven track record delivering strategic events that drive pipeline and revenue in enterprise technology or SaaS.
Strong people leader with experience managing distributed teams — comfortable stepping into an established team structure and maintaining momentum from day one.
Exceptional executive presence, with the ability to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders, both internal and external.
Experience leading annual events planning: building a portfolio case, a budget and goals, and securing both cross-functional and leadership buy-in.
Highly collaborative, with a natural ability to align multiple marketing functions and global/regional stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing significant event budgets and ROI analysis.
Comfortable stepping into an established team and programme mid-flight, building context quickly, and delivering impact within a fixed-term engagement.
Willing to travel across EMEA as needed, including on-site at major events.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.

1f:T212c,

We're looking for a strategic, execution-oriented marketing leader to step into a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover as Manager, Field Marketing EMEA South & META. In this role, you'll lead a team of seven people across four countries — Spain, Italy, Israel, and the UAE — driving demand generation, pipeline impact, and customer engagement programmes that directly support Snowflake's growth in two of EMEA's fastest-moving sub-regions.

You'll manage five Senior Field Marketing Managers and two Field Marketing Specialists, working in close alignment with two Regional Vice Presidents (South EMEA & META) and their sales organisations. You'll also collaborate day-to-day with EMEA Strategic Events, Product Marketing (PMM), Growth Marketing, Partner Marketing, and other marketing functions to ensure your team's programmes are tightly integrated with the broader EMEA go-to-market strategy.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be accountable for team performance and development, the quality and cadence of regional field marketing programmes, and the commercial outcomes those programmes deliver — all within the context of stepping into an established, high-performing team mid-flight.

What You'll Do

Own regional field marketing strategy for South EMEA & META: Oversee and align the field marketing plans across Spain, Italy, Israel, and the UAE — each owned and executed by the respective country FMM — ensuring every plan is tightly connected to our overarching EMEA strategy, territory revenue priorities, and EMEA-wide marketing goals. Programmes span field events, executive experiences, and partner co-marketing; your role is to provide strategic direction, ensure consistency across markets, and hold the team accountable to shared standards and outcomes.
Lead and develop a team of seven: Manage five Senior Field Marketing Managers and two Field Marketing Specialists across four countries. Set clear objectives, maintain operational rhythm, foster accountability, and ensure the team delivers at a consistently high level throughout the contract period.
Align with Sales leadership: Serve as the primary marketing partner to two RVPs (South EMEA & META), co-developing quarterly go-to-market plans, aligning marketing investment to pipeline targets, and maintaining a tight feedback loop between field activity and sales outcomes.
Oversee events across the portfolio: Ensure your team delivers a compelling calendar of regional field events, Snowflake-led programmes (World Tour, Data for Breakfast), and third-party sponsorships. Individual event planning and execution sits with team members; your role is to steer the portfolio, manage cross-functional alignment and ensure each programme meets its pipeline and engagement targets.
Drive measurable pipeline impact: Partner with Sales, SDR, Partner, and ABM teams to ensure every programme delivers qualified meetings, pipeline contribution, and revenue influence. Own the reporting cadence that connects field marketing activity to commercial outcomes at the regional level.
Manage budget and operations: Maintain visibility and financial discipline across the team's consolidated budget. Ensure accurate forecasting, spend tracking, and ROI analysis.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Act as the connective tissue between the South & META field teams and EMEA-wide marketing functions — including PMM, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Strategic Events, Brand, and Content — to ensure consistent messaging, resource sharing, and seamless execution across programmes.
Champion regional market insight: Bring South EMEA and META market context into EMEA-wide planning discussions, challenging assumptions about where and how Snowflake invests across the region.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of experience in B2B field marketing or regional marketing enterprise technology or SaaS.
2+ years of direct people management experience, with a track record of leading and developing distributed teams across multiple countries.
Strong executive presence with experience building trusted, peer-level relationships with senior sales leadership and influencing joint planning without direct authority.
Highly collaborative, with a natural ability to align multiple marketing functions and stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing field marketing budgets and ROI analysis.
Comfortable stepping into an established team and programme mid-flight, building context quickly, and delivering impact within a fixed-term engagement.
Fluency in English required. Arabic, Spanish, Italian, or Hebrew language skills are a significant plus.
Willing to travel across the region
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Bonus Points

Experience managing field marketing teams spanning Southern Europe and/or Middle East & Africa markets simultaneously.
Experience with major regional third-party events such as GITEX or similar large-scale technology conferences in the META region.
Background in cloud data, analytics, or AI platform marketing.
Experience with AI or GenAI tools to accelerate campaign creation, personalisation, or audience intelligence.
Track record of mentoring or developing marketers in a distributed, multi-country team environment.

Contract Details

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, with a target start date aligned to ensure a smooth handover. The role is based in Paris, France and reports to the Sr Director, Field Marketing & Strategic Events EMEA (also based in Paris).
