Skydio is the leading US drone company and the world leader in autonomous flight, the key technology for the future of drones and aerial mobility. The Skydio team combines deep expertise in artificial intelligence, best-in-class hardware and software product development, operational excellence, and customer obsession to empower a broader, more diverse audience of drone users, from utility inspectors to first responders, soldiers in battlefield scenarios, and beyond.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to own the systems behind our marketing programs and connect them to the BDR and sales teams so they run as one motion rather than a series of handoffs. When Marketing launches a program, this person makes sure it's built, QA'd, and lands cleanly with reps. When a BDR identifies an opportunity, this person makes sure the data, lists, and programs behind it are ready to act on immediately. The quality and completeness of our GTM data is what makes that speed possible, and as we expand into new segments and apply more AI and automation across the revenue engine, that foundation matters more every quarter.

You'll join a Revenue Operations team that has built the core routing, enrichment, and funnel infrastructure, and you'll have room to improve each of them. Because marketing systems feed directly into the sales process, you'll also partner with Sales and BDR teams on Salesforce work that keeps pipeline moving, and help harden routing, enrichment, and data hygiene alongside the rest of RevOps.

This role is built for someone who ramps fast and runs independently. With documented systems and SOPs to lean on, you'll be expected to own your queue within your first 30–45 days and make sound calls without waiting for sign-off. Day-to-day operational support is a real part of the job, but the greater impact comes from identifying and building durable, scalable solutions that drive revenue. The ideal candidate builds strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, and BDR leadership, treats data as a strategic asset, and consistently prioritizes the work with the greatest business impact.

This is a contractor role with opportunity to convert to full time hire.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Own Market program operations end to end, including builds, templates, segmentation, scoring, and QA. This covers campaigns, events, direct mail, and BDR-driven outreach, so programs launch cleanly and hand off to reps without friction.
Operate and evolve inbound lead routing, assignment logic, and enrichment with the broader RevOps team. Keep rules accurate as territories and segments change, and make sure records arrive complete enough for a rep to act on.
Build and scale foundational ops architecture across our stack, including lead lifecycle and account funnel models, lead status, and deduplication and RingLead matching rules.
Serve as the operational partner to Sales and BDR teams on Salesforce requests, record hygiene, and reporting, turning recurring asks into repeatable workflows.
Identify and ship improvements across our marketing stack that increase pipeline, improve speed to lead, or make Sales and Marketing more efficient.
Prioritize incoming requests from Marketing, Sales, and BDR leadership, and communicate tradeoffs directly when capacity is constrained.

What Makes You a Good Fit:

5+ years in Marketing Operations or Revenue Operations, including hands-on Salesforce work supporting Sales and BDR teams and systems ownership rather than campaign execution alone.
Deep hands-on Marketo experience, including program architecture, smart lists, scoring, and the Salesforce sync.
A track record of driving measurable outcomes through systems and data work, such as faster lead response, higher inbound conversion, or better pipeline visibility.
A builder's orientation toward scalable solutions, with examples of turning recurring operational issues into durable processes or automation while still managing day-to-day demands.
You drive work forward rather than waiting for it. Given an outcome, you define the problem, propose the approach, flag risks early, and ship.
Strong Salesforce administration skills, including objects and relationships, field architecture, validation rules, flows, and reporting.
Practical Clay experience, including waterfall enrichment and Salesforce writeback, and comfort working with data outside the UI through SQL, scripting, or spreadsheets at scale.
A data steward's mindset. You notice when a field is misused, fix root causes rather than symptoms, document systems as you build them, and treat record quality as a shared asset.
Proven ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups with competing priorities, and the judgment to focus effort where it matters most.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, or a warehouse-centric reporting stack that feeds GTM systems.
Outreach, LeanData, RingLead, or Gong administration experience.
Experience applying AI and workflow automation to GTM operations, whether through Clay, Zapier, n8n, or LLM-based enrichment and classification.
Obtaining FAA Part 107 certification within the first 60 days of employment is strongly encouraged for all Skydio employees and required for certain positions.

Compensation: This is a temporary independent contractor (1099) position with an initial contract duration of six (6) months, with the potential to extend or evolve based on business needs and mutual fit. The hourly rate range for this contract is $75 – $130* per hour and will vary based on factors including skill level, relevant experience, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and geographic location. 1f:T1fe7,

About the Role:

Skydio is looking for a Data Collection Flight Test Operator to join our data collection and flight testing team. In this role you'll fly Skydio aircraft across a wide range of environments and scenarios, gathering the data that trains and validates our autonomy and AI systems.

This is a field role, and the travel is real: expect to be on the road roughly 90% of the time, at test ranges, customer sites, and unimproved field environments across the United States. You'll execute structured flight missions, capture sensor and telemetry data, and feed findings directly back to the engineering teams building the product.

If you want to spend most of your time flying in the real world rather than at a desk, this is that job.

Location: San Mateo, CA (U.S.) — approximately 90% travel

Employment Type: Fixed Term - 12 months

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Safely operate Skydio aircraft across diverse environments - urban, rural, industrial, forested, and degraded-visual conditions - to collect data for product development and validation.
Execute structured flight test plans, including repeatable scripted scenarios and exploratory flights.
Collect, label, and manage high volumes of sensor, imagery, and telemetry data, following established data handling and chain-of-custody procedures.
Maintain accurate flight logs and documentation in compliance with FAA regulations and Skydio's safety procedures.
Report anomalies, near-misses, and incidents promptly and thoroughly, including clear detail on environmental and operational factors.
Partner with engineering and autonomy teams to align on data needs, test objectives, and operational constraints.
Maintain and troubleshoot aircraft, attachments, and ground equipment; keep kit ready for upcoming campaigns.

What makes you a good fit:

Required Qualifications:
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate in good standing.
- 100+ hours / 1+ years of experience operating small unmanned aircraft in real-world operational environments.
- Strong situational awareness and a demonstrated commitment to safe flight practices.
- Ability to follow structured test procedures precisely while adapting to changing field conditions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the discipline to document thoroughly in the field.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record acceptable under Skydio's insurance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in aviation, robotics, or field data collection.
- Experience with UAS flight testing, flight log analysis, or technical data capture.
- Experience operating under Part 107 waivers (BVLOS, night, or operations over people).
- Familiarity with Skydio platforms or other advanced autonomous aircraft.
- Comfort troubleshooting hardware and software issues independently in the field, without on-site engineering support.
- GIS or 3D photogrammetry experience.

Conditions of Employment/Physical Requirements:

Travel approximately up to 90% of the time to test sites, ranges, and field environments across the U.S.
Frequent early mornings, extended field days, and occasional weekend work driven by weather windows and site availability.
Successful completion of a background check.
Ability to lift and carry equipment cases weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varied weather, including heat, cold, wind, and precipitation.
Ability to stand, walk, and traverse uneven terrain at field sites for extended periods.

Compensation: This is a fixed term, full-time position with a limited duration as outlined in the job description. The hourly wage range for this position is $50 - $60 per hour*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, geographic location and experience. Fixed Term, full-time employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s group health insurance plans after fulfilling tenure and waiting period requirements, subject to the terms and conditions of the plans. Fixed-term, full-time employees are also eligible to receive the following benefits: Paid vacation time, sick leave, statutory holiday pay and 401K savings plan. This position and all associated benefits are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws, as well as the Company’s policies and eligibility criteria.

*Compensation for certain positions may vary based on the position’s location.
