We are rebuilding biotech for the AI era.

When a breakthrough is delayed, the world waits. Getting a molecule from discovery to patients, or a crop from lab to field, involves thousands of slow, manual, disconnected steps. AI has the potential to change this, compressing decades of R&D work into years. But that only happens when clean, structured scientific data and AI are built into how science gets done.

Benchling is the AI platform for biotech R&D. Scientists use Benchling to design experiments, capture structured data, and run AI agents and models directly in their workflows. Over 200,000 scientists around the world trust Benchling to power their most important work, from academic labs to Sanofi, Moderna, and more than half of the world's top 50 biopharma.

We’re building an AI scientist for our customers. We can’t do that if we haven’t built the muscle ourselves. AI fluency is the foundation we build on; it's core to how we work, and we're committed to helping every new hire integrate it into their day-to-day. As part of our interview process, you'll complete a brief AI-focused exercise or discussion so we can understand how you think about and use AI to drive impact in your role. Feel free to reference any tools, platforms, or workflows you use today.

This is a 5 month contract at 15-25 hours per week. Hybrid in-office role preferred at our San Francisco HQ.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for a content marketer for a focused 5-month engagement to produce technical, persona- and modality-specific content that fuels our demand generation programs. Sitting on the Content Marketing team but working hand-in-hand with Demand Gen, you'll create and refresh the assets that move pipeline: product briefs, case studies, white papers, gated best-practice guides, and product-focused blog posts. You'll partner with GTM stakeholders on customer stories, write select pieces from scratch, and use AI tooling (AirOps) to draft and refine at scale. This is a hands-on writing role for someone who can adapt tone and structure across formats, translate complex science for a technical audience, and juggle multiple concurrent projects as a true extension of the team

RESPONSIBILITIES

Create/Update Product Briefs, Case Studies, and White Papers to support Go-To-Market & Demand Generation Programs
Write persona- and modality-specific content across Development, Automation, In Vivo, PD, Biologics, and Chemistry product lines
Support customer story development in partnership with Sales/Field stakeholders
Write select pieces from scratch, particularly product-focused blog posts and articles
Work within AirOps to generate, edit, and refine AI-assisted drafts at scale

Write and edit gated best-practice guides for a technical audience
Refresh and update existing web content for SEO/AEO performance

QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years in content marketing or writing role, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
Strong writing and editing skills; comfortable adapting tone and structure across formats (guides, blogs, recaps, campaign content)
Experience working with or willingness to learn AI content tools (AirOps or similar)
Familiarity with CMS Contentful, SEMrush, GA4, or other marketing/SEO metrics tools
Nice-to-have: AEO (answer engine optimization) exposure
Nice-to-have: life sciences or biotech background
Comfortable working as an embedded contractor, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders and managing multiple concurrent projects

1f:T2240,

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a 6 month contract in-office role with a required hybrid schedule — a minimum of three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) at our San Francisco HQ.

The Benchling Executive Admins are strategic partners who deliver best-in-class support to our executives and their functions. We are a team built on trust, transparency, and mutual accountability — challenging and supporting each other to continually raise the bar. We are inclusive and welcoming with everyone at Benchling, which shows up in our processes, events, and everyday work. We set the tone for the company culture, making ourselves and our executives accessible and approachable to all. At our core, we are hardworking, collaborative individuals who create a safe environment to share ideas, have a voice, make mistakes, and learn from our collective experiences.

Benchling is looking for a highly experienced, energetic, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to provide strategic and operational support to senior sales leaders. You'll support Benchling's Head of Go-to-Market and partner closely with our VPs of Sales AMER and EMEA, working across a fast-paced, metrics-driven revenue organization where deals move quickly and schedules change constantly. In this role, you'll handle a wide range of complex and highly confidential responsibilities that go far beyond traditional admin work — operating as a key partner in driving leadership efficiency, clarity, and focus. You'll be the point of delegation for high-priority tasks, from managing executive time to crafting sensitive communications, preparing presentations, compiling reports, and ensuring seamless execution of critical initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform extensive calendar management and prioritization across multiple time zones for senior executives.
Prepare domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, and timely expense filings.
Manage all forms of daily correspondence, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate responses with a high degree of confidentiality.
Collaborate on and manage key projects and priorities across multiple functions.
Lead planning and coordination for presentations, meetings, and dissemination of strategic information.
Plan and execute high-profile events, off-sites, and special functions with precision and creativity.
Lead full-cycle planning and own end-to-end logistics for Sales events including venue contracting, travel, budget, and workback planning. Events include Quarterly Business Reviews (“QBRs”) across AMER & EMEA, CKO/SKO, H2KO, and other ad-hoc offsites.
Manage the executive customer-meeting program during Benchling's annual customer conference, coordinating private meeting rooms, scheduling, and onsite flow between Sales/CX teams and customers.
Administer the recognition program (High5s) for the Sales organization — nominations, approvals, budget tracking.
Support weekly pipeline/forecast call logistics and follow-ups for regional sales standups.
Coordinate interview scheduling for Sales hiring across multiple time zones (AMER/EMEA).
Manage cross-region calendar coordination between AMER (Pacific & East Coasts) and EMEA (UK-time) sales leadership.
Attend key meetings, help develop and communicate agendas, take notes, and track action items through to completion.
Partner closely with Workplace, Events, and IT teams to provide on-the-ground logistics support.
Build strong relationships across the organization, establishing yourself as a trusted, proactive connector.
Serve as a senior member of the EA team, providing strategic thought partnership and mentorship to peers.
Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of experience supporting VP or C-level leaders, ideally in enterprise SaaS sales or tech organizations.
Proven success managing multiple executives with competing, high-stakes priorities.
Experience managing multi-day, 50–100+ person corporate events (kickoffs, regional offsites) including budget ownership and vendor/contract coordination.
Comfort supporting a fast-moving, metrics-driven sales organization with frequent last-minute schedule changes.
Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Polished communicator with high emotional intelligence and impeccable discretion.
Adept with productivity and collaboration tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Navan. Familiarity with Salesforce (viewer-level), procurement/expense tools (ZIP or equivalent), and event/travel logistics platforms is a plus.
Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining a calm, steady presence.
Passionate about biotech, innovation, and working with purpose-driven teams.

HOW WE WORK

We offer a flexible hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes in-office collaboration. Employees are expected to be on-site 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project manage execution of the P&P rollout: track workstreams across IT/Systems, Sales Enablement, Deal Desk, CX, Finance and Legal, and flag risks before they slip.
Build and maintain internal-facing pricing artifacts: enablement decks, FAQ docs, rollout timelines, and training materials for Sales and CS.
Manage the build process for external-facing pricing collateral (pricing pages, one-pagers, sales guides)
Partner with Deal Desk and Systems on CPQ configuration, SKU bundling, and contract updates: translate pricing decisions into implementation requirements.
Conduct competitive pricing and packaging research: monitor competitor moves, pull public pricing data, and synthesize findings into clear comparisons, not raw notes.
Support pricing analysis: pull and organize data for ASP, win rate, and deal size questions, and flag patterns worth a closer look.
Manage the pilot testing process: recruit pilot accounts, track feedback, synthesize results into a go/no-go recommendation.

What success looks like:

Sales needs are anticipated, and enablement materials ship on time so they can be used without follow-up questions.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years in pricing, sales/GTM operations, or strategy consulting, with direct exposure to SaaS pricing and packaging.
Can run a competitive pricing scan or a basic ASP analysis independently and know what's worth flagging.
Experience at a pricing consulting firm, or hands-on experience leading a pricing or packaging redesign at a platform or data products company.
Strong project manager skills: direct, succinct communicator; can anticipate what is missing from plans; recommend prioritization and tradeoffs; drives stakeholder ownership, accountability and task closure; .
Comfortable working across Product, Sales, Finance, IT and Legal without a formal reporting line into any of them and with .
Clear written communicator. Can turn a messy set of inputs into a clean status update or decision doc.
Bias for action. Default is to move things forward, not wait for perfect information.

Benchling welcomes everyone.

21:T15e9,

ROLE OVERVIEW

This is a 6 month contract in-office role with a required hybrid schedule — a minimum of three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) at our San Francisco HQ.

Our marketing data layer was built incrementally over several years, and it shows. The models, dashboards, and pipelines powering our funnel reporting, campaign attribution, and SDR workflows have accumulated patches and gaps that are increasingly holding us back particularly as we push into AI-driven marketing tooling that requires clean, well-documented data to work reliably.

We're looking for a mid-level marketing data analyst for a focused 6-month engagement embedded with the Marketing Operations team. You'll own the sprint to clean up the underlying data models, ship the core dashboards we've been scoping, integrate new data sources, and document everything well enough that the team and our AI tools can self-serve when the engagement ends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the dbt + Sigma layer for the marketing funnel, from campaign member to MQL/MSL, meeting and opportunities. Resolve dependencies, filling model gaps, and documenting logic end-to-end.
Integrate new data sources into Snowflake: ad platform spend (Google, LinkedIn), GA4 traffic and conversion data, and Gong conversation and meeting object.
Build and update marketing dashboards: funnel stage conversion, pipeline generation (effort, health, velocity), SDR activity and MQL outcomes, and per-product ARR attribution. Integrating new data sources into them.
Build quality control and system health monitoring across the marketing stack: Marketo to SFDC sync health, lead routing coverage, data freshness, and email deliverability signals.
Partner with our internal data team and other GTM analysts to align on core GTM data models.
Produce a data dictionary: plain-language definitions of key marketing concepts and data model semantics written for both team and LLM consumption.

QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years in marketing analytics or marketing operations at a B2B SaaS company.
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and github for version control.
Experience with Snowflake and a modern BI tool. Sigma strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo data structures; you understand what an MQL is and how it moves between systems.
Familiarity with marketing attribution concepts: campaign member models, multi-touch attribution, and lead-to-opportunity conversion.
Experience building and documenting data models for non-technical consumers.
Self-directed and comfortable working as an embedded contractor on a defined-scope engagement.

Benchling welcomes everyone.
